Hell of a way to end the season

Well, my team, The PTI-ers of Yahoo.com, were in second place going into the final week of the season just before the start of the playoffs, and I just happened to be playing the number 1 team in the league. I was 4.5 games back going into the week, which plays 9 categories head-to-head. This meant I needed to beat him 7-2 to take the lead. These are the results of the matchup (my score is on the left and the winner is in bold).

Dan's Inappropiate Questions

To answer all of Dan's questions in one quick response, I provide you with this. While listening to Fantasy Focus at 8:30 am on Sunday Morning, Eric Karabell, one of the hosts and fantasy guru, provided an example of a league in which he lost. His excuse for his pitiful performance was that the day of the draft his first son was born. Seriously, this is the age of cell phones and text messaging. I don't see how he couldn't have submitted his picks over the phone or by text messaging. That is all.

P.S. Sex or Fantasy Sports? Only one of these can you realistically do 24/7.

I got my first kill in Assassination and avoided the stagnation deadline. I killed the leader of Pi Tau Sigma. Crowd Loving It.

Now to the fantasy sports portion.

Four of my fantasy basketball teams are approaching the playoffs. Two NBA.com teams, The PTI-ers and The Minnetonka Cake Eaters, have clinched playoff spots. The Cake Eaters have also clinched the first seed., while The PTI-ers are currently battling for second. The yahoo.com team, also named The PTI-ers, is currently in second and 4.5 games back of first. However, I am playing the team in first place this week. So, if I finish 7-2 against him this week, I will take the lead going into next weeks playoffs. Even if I finish second, I will still get a first round bye.

As for the Chem Eng League, my team, You're in a BOX!, is currently in first place with this week and next before the playoffs. I have some comments about this league but I'll hold off til the weekend.
